Ndindi Nyoro Gains Ground as Simayo Joins His Party

Ndindi Nyoro has scored a major political victory after welcoming Susan Simayo into the People’s Party of Kenya.

Simayo, a Kajiado Woman Representative aspirant, defected from Rigathi Gachagua’s DCP, signaling Nyoro’s growing influence as parties scramble to attract aspirants ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Nyoro described Simayo’s entry as a boost to his party’s grassroots networks, pointing to her experience in public service as a valuable addition. Her move is expected to strengthen the party’s presence in Kajiado, where the Woman Rep race is shaping up to be hotly contested.

Observers say Nyoro’s ability to attract aspirants highlights his rising profile in national politics. For him, every defection is a chance to expand his reach and position his party as a serious contender in the upcoming polls.
