Four Siblings Die in House Fire in Ol Joro Orok, Nyandarua County

Four young siblings, aged between two and eight years, have died after a fire destroyed their home in Gatimu Ward, Ol Joro Orok, Nyandarua County, over the weekend.

According to reports, the children had been left at home while their parents attended a church service. A fire broke out and spread quickly through the house. The parents were alerted and rushed back, but neighbours and the parents could not reach the children in time.

Emergency responders and police retrieved the children's remains, which were taken to the Nyahururu County Referral Hospital mortuary. Police have not yet given the cause of the fire, and investigations are continuing.

The incident is the second fatal fire involving children in Nyandarua County in recent weeks, which has left residents in shock and mourning.
