Gladys Nderitu Says Daughter Found Dead in Lavington Was Her Second Born Who Was Helping Her

Gladys Nderitu has spoken after her daughter, Mercy Wachinga Maina, was found dead in her house in Lavington.

Mercy was found about one month after she allegedly died in early August. Her body was discovered in her Lavington home.

Gladys and her other daughter appeared in a video shared on Facebook by content creator MC Kirubi. The family is from Othaya in Nyeri County.

Gladys said Mercy was her second born child and was supporting her.

She said she is seeking help from Kenyans to fulfil her daughter's final wishes.

Mercy's sister also appealed for help to fulfil Mercy's desires.

MC Kirubi urged Kenyans not to judge the family over the delay in discovering Mercy's body and the circumstances surrounding her death.

The family has shared a contact number for those willing to support them. They have not disclosed details about the cause of death.
