This act of distributing food shows a gesture of goodwill and an attempt to mend the strained relationship between the police force and the community. The move was captured in a video shared by Honorable Alinur Mohammed, a prominent figure in the Orange Democratic Movement party, who highlighted the police's efforts to change the negative perception following the tragic events.

Odinga condemned the actions of the police officers involved in the killings and called for swift action to be taken against them.
